Toler & Co. does not offer refunds once travel, processing, or document handling has begun, because time, fuel, preparation, and administrative work are already invested in completing the service. If a client needs to cancel, the cancellation must occur before the courier begins travel or before notary or apostille processing starts; otherwise, the full fee applies. Rescheduling is allowed when possible, but may require an additional convenience or travel fee. If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information, unavailable recipients, or refusal to sign for the documents, the service fee is still considered earned, and any additional delivery attempts or return‑to‑sender transport may incur extra charges. This policy ensures fairness, transparency, and respect for the time and resources required to provide professional notary, apostille, and courier services.
By using any notary, apostille, or courier service provided by Toler & Co., the client agrees to these Terms of Service. Toler & Co. performs all services in accordance with Texas law and professional standards, including verifying identity for notarial acts, preparing and submitting documents for apostille processing, and securely transporting documents for courier delivery. Notary services are limited to witnessing signatures, administering oaths, and completing notarial certificates; Toler & Co. does not provide legal advice, interpret documents, or notarize incomplete paperwork. Apostille Agent services include organizing and submitting documents to the appropriate state or federal agency but do not include determining whether an apostille is required, obtaining vital records, or advising on international legal requirements. Courier services include secure pickup, transport, and delivery of documents, with one delivery attempt unless otherwise arranged, and may require a signature for Proof‑of‑Delivery. Fees are due at scheduling, are non‑refundable once travel or processing begins, and may include additional charges for travel, printing, after‑hours service, or multiple delivery attempts. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, complete documents, correct addresses, and any special handling instructions. Toler & Co. reserves the right to refuse service for illegal materials, unsafe locations, fraudulent documents, or requests outside the scope of Texas notary law. By scheduling or receiving services, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms.
Toler & Co. collects only the information necessary to complete notary, apostille, and courier services, including client contact details, identification required for notarial acts, documents submitted for apostille processing, delivery addresses, recipient information, and signatures for Proof‑of‑Delivery. All documents are handled with strict confidentiality; courier materials remain sealed, apostille documents are reviewed only for submission requirements, and notarial documents are examined solely for compliance with Texas law. Information is used exclusively to complete the requested service, communicate with clients, maintain legally required records, and coordinate delivery or agency submission. Proof‑of‑Delivery signatures are securely stored and used only to verify delivery. Records are kept in locked physical storage or password‑protected digital systems with access limited to authorized personnel. Toler & Co. may use trusted third‑party providers for payment processing, shipping, or government submissions, each governed by their own privacy policies. Information is never sold or shared except when required by law, necessary for agency submission, or authorized by the client. Clients may request copies, corrections, or deletion of non‑required records at any time. While no system is entirely risk‑free, Toler & Co. uses reasonable safeguards to protect all personal information and may update this policy as laws or business operations change.

Notary Public services are limited to verifying identity, witnessing signatures, administering oaths, and completing notarial certificates as permitted under Texas Government Code Chapter 406. Toler & Co. does not provide legal advice, interpret or explain documents, prepare legal forms, or notarize incomplete or blank documents. Clients must ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, and ready for notarization prior to the appointment. Apostille Agent services include preparing, organizing, and submitting documents to the appropriate state or federal agency for certification. Toler & Co. does not determine whether an apostille or authentication is required, obtain vital records on behalf of clients, certify document contents, or provide legal guidance regarding international document use. All documents submitted for apostille processing must be provided by the client in their required certified form.
Document Courier services include secure pickup, transport, and delivery of documents within local, regional, and statewide areas. Courier services consist of one delivery attempt unless otherwise arranged, and may require a signature for Proof‑of‑Delivery. If the intended recipient or authorized representative is unavailable or refuses to sign, the courier may return the documents to the sender or reschedule delivery at the client’s expense. Toler & Co. does not guarantee delivery times affected by weather, road conditions, office closures, emergencies, or delays caused by third‑party facilities or government agencies. Courier services do not include the transport of hazardous, illegal, or restricted materials, nor do they involve opening, reading, or interpreting the contents of transported documents.
Fees for all services are due at the time of scheduling unless otherwise arranged. Once travel or processing has begun, fees are non‑refundable. Additional charges may apply for travel, printing, after‑hours service, multiple delivery attempts, return‑to‑sender transport, or special handling requests. Cancellations must be made before travel or processing begins; otherwise, the full fee applies. Rescheduling is permitted when possible but may require additional fees. Toler & Co. reserves the right to refuse service for unsafe locations, fraudulent or illegal documents, requests outside the scope of Texas notary law, or materials requiring legal representation or advice.
Toler & Co. takes reasonable measures to ensure secure handling and confidentiality of all documents and personal information. Documents remain sealed during courier transport, apostille materials are reviewed only for submission requirements, and notarial documents are examined solely for compliance with Texas law. While every effort is made to maintain confidentiality and secure transport, no system is entirely risk‑free, and Toler & Co. is not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by third parties, incorrect client information, unavailable recipients, or the legal impact of document contents. Liability is limited to documents in the courier’s possession and does not extend to their value, purpose, or legal consequences.
By using any service provided by Toler & Co., the client acknowledges and accepts this Service Agreement, along with the accompanying Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Liability Notice. These terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law or business operations, and the most current version will always be available on the Toler & Co. website.
Toler & Co. takes reasonable measures to ensure secure handling of all documents, but liability is limited to the period during which documents are in the courier’s possession and does not extend to the contents, legal impact, or value of the documents themselves. Toler & Co. is not responsible for delays caused by weather, road conditions, government agencies, office closures, emergencies, or third‑party facilities. The business is not liable for incorrect or incomplete documents provided by the client, inaccurate addresses, unavailable recipients, or consequences arising from the legal or personal nature of the documents. Notary services are performed strictly within Texas law, and Toler & Co. is not responsible for the validity, enforceability, or legal effect of notarized documents. Apostille services involve submitting documents to state or federal agencies, and Toler & Co. is not liable for agency processing times, rejections, or delays beyond its control. Courier services rely on accurate client information, and Toler & Co. is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by misinformation or refusal to accept delivery. While every effort is made to maintain confidentiality and secure transport, no system is completely risk‑free, and clients agree to these limitations when using any service provided by Toler & Co.
